When I look at the UK's life sciences sector, I see extraordinary potential. World-class universities, cutting-edge research, and a thriving industry. But I also see a talent pipeline that's under strain. International students arrive with ambition but need structured support to navigate UK academic culture, career pathways, and wellbeing. UK students need earlier exposure to industry and clearer routes into specialised roles.

The infrastructure to bridge these gaps — mentorship, career education, cross-cultural integration, AI-enabled learning — has been fragmented, reactive, or simply missing.
