What happens in the session
Students work in teams using AI-style tools for diagnostics, vaccine matching, and drug design. Each tool has a flaw — teams must find it before acting.
The session is a 60-minute hybrid experience: led in the room by Paul Beashel, with Professor Graham Ball (Professor of AI in the Life Sciences) joining live online. Your school provides the room and screen; we bring facilitation and materials.
What students gain
- Critical thinking under uncertainty with genuine science
- Practical experience treating AI as a capable but fallible colleague
- Collaborative problem-solving in a facilitated setting
- A preview of the FutureReady Life Sciences Journey for students who want to find out more
